Thier programmes cover various service lines, from communications systems and mission systems to platform integration and support elements. We are currently seeking an Industrial Engineer / Production Engineer / Production Controller Engineer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in delivering capability and development, including product development, testing, mission support systems, and training devices. This role involves translating customer needs and requirements into effective solutions, working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to generate proposals and develop deliverable solutions.

Their programmes are internationally run, with key international partnerships. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with these business units, providing opportunities for short- or longer-term travel. Key Tasks include:

  • Creating and maintaining production schedules and engineering work orders aligned with the overall program schedule.
  • Applying industrial engineering concepts to enhance product, process, and service performance.
  • Developing plant layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and workflows.
  • Evaluating new techniques and technological developments for integration into production processes.
  • Designing, maintaining, and optimizing production systems, including workflow design and analysis.
  • Conducting data analysis and providing summary metrics for consultation.
  • Researching, designing, and implementing processes and tools to improve schedule performance, lower costs, and enhance quality.
  • Developing and implementing plans for facility modifications and operating method revisions.
  • Providing production, supply chain logistics, and performance visibility support.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong industrial engineering background.
  • Extensive experience with Aurora, Gold ESP MRO.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis, problem solving, and improvement projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and mechanics.
  • Experience in assembly integration and test operations.
  • Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.

Work Authorisation: This position requires current legal authorisation to work in the UK.

Security Clearance: UK security clearance is preferred for this position; candidates must be willing to go through the process.
