Background
Our client is one of the world’s largest defense contractors and is renowned for its performance in the military support, security, aerospace and technologies industries. They work with over 50+ countries worldwide, operating 350+ facilities with a mammoth workforce of over 120,000. Indotronix was selected for a staffing assignment in Q1 2015 after a large RFP. This was just a year after our client was awarded the title of the world’s largest defense contractor for that year by revenue alone. The quality of our performance warranted us being selected again in Q4 2016 after another RFP. The MSP led staffing program hired for a variety of roles across multiple divisions that included, but was not limited to, IT, Engineering and Manufacturing.
Challenges
- The size of the company and its global presence meant that extra care would be necessary to keep all hiring-related costs down
- The vacant positions often required niche and highly specialized knowledge and quality candidates would be hard to find as a result. Furthermore, working for a defense contractor will often require the handling of sensitive information and thus candidates must be screened comprehensively.
