However, many of these programs fail to consider veterans in the contingent workforce. John Perez is the Head of Military & Veterans Affairs at Johnson & Johnson. John is a graduate of Johnson & Johnson’s Procurement Leadership Development Program and the Shaping Talent & Accelerating Results (STARS) Program for supply chain talent. He’s held previous Procurement, Supply Chain and Acquisition & Divestiture roles across Johnson & Johnson. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, John served as a US Army and US Army Reserve officer in various cross-functional roles, twice deploying to Iraq. John is a graduate of Seton Hall University and Yale School of Management and holds numerous professional certifications. John is also a George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program alumnus.
Rachel Harrington

Rachel Harrington is a strategic contingent workforce leader with over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry. She is currently a Program Director at nextSource with oversight of MSP operations for a Fortune 100 insurance company. Prior to nextSource, Rachel worked with Chimes, PRO Unlimited and Workforce Logiq (formerly ZeroChaos) having held various roles including operations, supplier relations, regional management, and client account management. Rachel has participated in the solution design, initial implementations and service expansions of multiple clients. She has extensive hands on experience with most major VMS systems including Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY and other proprietary applications. Rachel works closely with clients’ senior management to maintain a high level of quality ensuring program goals and objectives are successfully achieved. In other roles Rachel developed and maintained a network of diverse suppliers to better serve new and existing clients by creating diversity programs and increasing their diversity spend goals.
Adam Moore
Director of Supplier Diversity

Adam Moore is the Director of Supplier Diversity for Truist bank, working to promote the inclusion of small and diverse business in the supplier mix at the Bank. He is considerably active in the supplier diversity space as it relates to technology and contingent labor in the financial vertical. Adam is often sought as a speaker and moderator on the topic of supplier diversity. Also he has written for blogs on the topic of supplier diversity, as well as co-hosting a podcast, Breaking Barriers, Building a Hire Ground. Additionally, he is considered an expert in emerging technologies, Big Data analytics, and information technology sourcing and staffing. Along with his deep industry knowledge, Adam holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Brenau University and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from North Georgia College.
