Job Description :
The Instructional Designer reports to a Lead Instructional Designer as a member of a cross-functional team and is responsible for the analysis, design and development of training materials and courseware.
The courseware and/or curricula may be produced for many different industries and will be delivered in a variety of delivery media including Web Based Training (WBT), Interactive Distance Learning (IDL), Virtual Classroom Training (VCT), Instructor Led Hands-On Training, Video, and Mixed Reality (AR and VR).
Responsibilities:
This individual is responsible for analysis, design and development training materials and curricula that:
• Are completed in accordance with project plans
• Are instructionally sound
• Are grammatically correct
• Are consistent with approved style guides
• Meet customer expectations
• Communicate learning concepts effectively.
Required Skill Set :
• Prefer four years’ experience as an Instructional Designer producing WBT (Web Based Training) and ILT (Instructor Led Training) materials
• Experience researching content, gleaning information from technical, soft skills, and business documentation, engineering personnel, or other technical subject matter experts
• Demonst***d experience developing in Articulate 360
• Excellent writing skills; (use of language, grammar, spelling, organizing content)
• Excellent software skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to effectively work with remote clients and project teams
• Ability to plan and enhance initial and existing designs
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task while working on multiple projects
• Demonstrated experience applying the ADDIE model to course development in a professional/business environment
• Demonstrated experience organizing content using creative message design principles
• Ability to take responsibility for assigned courseware development, timelines, and budget activities
• Ability to independently perform design/development duties and adhere to instructions and established guidelines
• Ability to work with a diverse group of internal and external professionals, across multiple teams and grade levels to ensure project requirements are met

Education typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor)
