Indotronix had the opportunity to source talent for a niche role for this leading manufacturing client when their existing supplier base was unable to fill the role successfully. This earned us a spot on the program and despite being new to the program and competing with over 30 suppliers, we quickly demonstrated our ability to meet complex requirements, including roles demanding specific industrial and lab expertise. By leveraging strategic sourcing methods and maintaining a commitment to quality, we not only filled challenging positions but also rose to become one of the client’s top five suppliers. 

Challenges

Small Candidate Pools: Limited availability of qualified candidates for unique positions in a competitive hiring market. This shortage was even more acutely felt when sourcing for jobs that required niche skills. A notable example was our experience hiring for an Industrial Data Analyst position which required recruiters to find a candidate who was a proficient data analyst but also had industrial lab experience and familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Candidate Duplication: As the program was being built up, vendors ran into issues where a candidate was submitted multiple times for a particular role. Our prior experience with large scale hiring programs allowed us to navigate this issue through the rigorous use of RTR’s (Right To Represent) forms so that each candidate we source is represented exclusively by us, streamlining the hiring process and avoiding confusion down the line.
Non-Recurring Roles: Managing unique, non-recurring positions that could not be pipelined, requiring a tailored and immediate recruitment approach for each role.

Our Approach:

  • Targeted Sourcing: Conducted deep dives into platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed to uncover passive candidates with niche expertise. Our recruiters would capitalize on their industry knowledge and prior recruitment experience to understand the needs of each role and candidate to ultimately find the perfect fit.
  • Commitment to Client Success: Demonstrated exceptional dedication when a highly qualified candidate requested a higher pay rate. We initially absorbed the cost, showcasing our commitment to both the candidate and the client. This act of flexibility and integrity earned the client’s appreciation, leading them to increase their own pay rate for the role, further solidifying our relationship and mutual trust.

Top Supplier Recognition: Earned a spot as one of the top five suppliers in the client’s MSP program, competing against over 30 vendors.
