Scope:

• Multiple testing teams, no one is looking at it holistically, gaps in testing, duplication, someone that’s looking at new implementations, requirements, thinking through different scenarios, level of test planning, coordinating testing teams
• Test st***gy, test orchestration
• Will be hands on testing, not testing every day, but get in and understand feature and product
• A ton of different projects, team of 5 that will collabo*** with other groups. 5 total architects, will spread out through different
• Weigh in to what can be automated
• Open to QA Lead/management, Fullstack testing experience

 

Must have skills/certs/technologies:

• Strong architecture background – enterprise level
• Basic scripting experience
• Doesn’t need a developer, need to be able to tie pieces together and see the big picture
• Fullstack/E2E testing experience
• Extensive AMDOCS CRM experience
• Industry experience, mobile is a plus
• Enterprise architect, broad picture – any software architecture

Team Culture/Size/Soft Skills needed:

• This will be part of her Architecture team – small team of 5. Vyshali has 50 testers (in various groups) under her, but this architecture team will be addressing/looking at these individual teams with a more holistic view.

 

JOB SUMMARY

JOB TITLE:  Sr Test Architect

Typically part of the solution development team, the solution architect is responsible for translating the requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through the set of architecture and design artifacts. Those artifacts are then used by the rest of the development team to implement the solution. The process of defining architecture by the solution architect often involves selection of the most appropriate technology for the problem being solved. Strong understanding and working knowledge of software engineering, software development, solution architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms. Level III Minimum 6 to 10 years experience designing or configuring systems and/or applications Level IV Minimum 10+ years experience designing or configuring systems and/or applications. 10 + years of experience.

 

• Knowledge working on telecom BSS domain such as billing, CRM, front office apps etc.
• Document, Implement, Monitor, and Enforce all Processes for Testing as per Standards Defined by the Organization.
• Subject Matter expert in AMDOCS CRM
• Working experience with Automation, Defect Management and Test Management Tools

Qualification & Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree (or Masters) in Computer Science or related field.
• 6-10 years of experience in telecom BSS application testing such as mobile apps, order management, customer care/CRM, Billing, ERP, web applications, integration layer/APIs.
• Very good knowledge in RDBMS such as Oracle, MYSQL on Unix/Linux environment.
• Able to participate in client meetings and coordination with various development teams for support
• Working exp with Automation, Defect Management and Test Management Tools
