• Design products to survive electromagnetic environmental effects.
• Develop requirements based on program requirements and physics rather than legacy program requirements.
• Ensure that designs meet system driven EMI/EMC requirements.
• Work in a multi-disciplined team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers.
• Set up and conduct EMC tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 test standard.
• BSEE with a minimum of 8 years of E3 development experience
• MSEE with a minimum of 6 years of E3 development experience.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.
• Minimum 4 years of EMC testing experience.
• Must be familiar with ESD handling and prevention protocols.
• Perform quantitative E3 analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and military EMC compliance standards, requirements, and test methods.
• Experience with vulnerability characterization.
• Work experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
• Able to assist with basic troubleshooting, basic interpretation, and analysis of test results.
