Purpose of Role: |
The automotive industry is undergoing the biggest transformation it has ever seen as trends such as electrification, connectivity and autonomous vehicles reshape the sector. As the UK’s largest car fleet with c.700k vehicles, it is crucial Motability Operations (MO) continues to evolve and adapt through this period. At MO we are committed to ensuring our data and processes are successfully maintained and enhanced to keep our customers moving. We are therefore recruiting for a Data Product Owner to join our new team within the Asset Risk (AR) Division. This role will ensure Asset Risk systems are fit for purpose today and ready for the challenges of the future, providing a bridge between our operational teams and technology department and facilitating better data decision making for our customers.

About the team: |
The Data Product team is a new team, within the wider Asset Risk division, with the responsibility for supporting, updating and enhancing the division’s data systems and processes to ensure they continue to deliver value for MO and our customers.
The Asset Risk division has responsibility for:
Following on from the successful delivery of the Asset Risk Data Project, which transformed the data management tools and processes we use across the division, we are now looking forward to transition from project to product world. This new Data Product Team will be vital in ensuring we support, enhance and develop these new tools and continue delivering for our customers over the coming years.
With our people being our greatest asset, our division has embraced the business’s hybrid working style, with 3 days in the office each week expected.
